YouTube has a lot of great content on it. Townsend & Sons (colonial era cooking and technology), for example, has 796 videos on their channel.

Unfortunately, a lot of it has been forced off or deleted in the last few months.

So, I've stepped up my pillaging of YouTube videos for my archives. I have a tool which automatically downloads entire YouTube channels at a time. If there is content you like on YouTube, you might want to consider saving it for posterity.

kudos on saving content, its like Fahrenheit 451 wasn't just books, sheesh

I may have wrote that wrongly but I didn't see a way to edit it. Townsend & Son didn't have videos deleted, but a LOT of other content has. They were one of the latest channels I have archived. That one channel was 68gb of 793 videos saved at 720p. One channel that I know is missing some content is Survival Russia.

A lot of content is now gone. Some has re-surfaced on other venues. Fortunately the tool I'm using can pillage those also.

there need to be a GunHub site, you know like PornHub but for guns. lol
