5 of largest U.S. banks to suspend mortgage payments

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Five of the nation’s largest banks agreed to temporarily suspend residential mortgage payments for people affected by the coronavirus, California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Wednesday.

We just make our final mortgage payment. Now, even if cash become worthless, the bank cannot take our home. I can manage the property tax.
