Homemade Hand Sanitizer

In case anyone hasn't noticed, hand sanitizer is sold out pretty much everywhere. Very few places have it.

Get some el-cheapo rubbing alcohol, like some 50% at Dollar Tree (a common dollar store in the midwest), and get some el-cheapo aloe vera sunburn gel, also to be had at Dollar Tree.

Put equal amounts of each into an empty bottle, such as one with a pump (like an empty large hand sanitizer bottle). A good mix is a 1 pint bottle of 50% alcohol and a 9.7oz bottle of aloe vera 'after sun' gel.

Once it's all in the dispensing container, shake vigorously to mix it all up. Then let it set for a while. The aloe will thicken the mixture over the next 30 to 60 minutes.

The results are as good as store bought hand sanitizer.

Well, admittedly, real men just burn the germs off their hands with a Zippo. However, some might have a female or two that they pretend to listen to. Females prefer the gel style hand cleaner over the Zippo. Think of it as part of a mating ritual.
